Players control a spaceship, the “Darius,” navigating through waves of enemies and bosses across various stages. The game’s screen is three times wider than conventional size, and the arcade cabinet uses an arrangement of three screens to accommodate it.

The game’s signature element is its incredible side art and topper, which often feature intricate molded plastic designs. These details are what make a Darius cabinet truly stand out.

Recently, a user shared some high-quality images of Darius II’s instruction card and marquee, igniting a wave of enthusiasm among the community. This sparked a discussion about the different versions of the game and the best cabinet art to use.
